Oppose the Racist EDL
In July 2011 the English Defence League held a rally in Portsmouth, England. In return a protest was organised against them.
As part of its organisation stickers with the details of the protest were placed all over the city.
3 months on they were in varying states of existence, some worn by weather, some damaged where people have attempted to remove them.
These images are a photographic investigation into social tolerance of the local population. Have people attempted to remove the stickers because they disagree with the protest and so agree with the EDL or are they being removed in an opposition to what is essentially vandalism of public property.
